Gee Movie Explorer

Gee Movie Explorerは、Webページを閲覧しながら動画を保存し、保存済みの動画をオフラインで再生するミニマルブラウザです。

基本的な使い方

1. アドレス欄にHTTP(S) URLを入力してページを開きます。
2. 動画の検出・保存ボタンをタップします。
3. 「保存候補」で動画、画質、容量を確認して保存します。
4. 保存が完了したら「保存動画」から再生します。

よくある質問

どの動画を保存できますか？

ページ内のvideo/source要素や明示的なURLから取得できるMP4、非DRMのHLS、対象範囲内の非DRM・静的DASHを扱います。保存候補として表示されても、配信元の応答やアクセス権によって保存できない場合があります。

保存候補が表示されません

ページを読み込んだ後に検出ボタンを押してください。動画URLがページ内に公開されていない、MSEのblob URLで再生している、DRMや署名付きストリームを使っている場合は対象外です。ページを再読み込みしてから、もう一度お試しください。

保存した動画はどうやって見ますか？

「保存動画」を開いて動画をタップしてください。保存が完了した動画は、元のWebサイトや動画URLに接続できない状態でも端末内から再生できます。保存途中の動画はオフライン再生できません。

バックグラウンドでも保存できますか？

MP4と終了するHLS VODは、iOSのバックグラウンド転送に対応します。ライブHLSの収録は前面表示中のみで、完了したい時点で「完了」をタップしてください。アプリを強制終了すると、iOSがバックグラウンド転送をキャンセルする場合があります。

共有シートから動画を追加できますか？

iOSの共有シートでGee Movie Explorerを選択すると、対応する動画ファイルを保存動画へ追加できます。共有後に本アプリを開き、保存動画一覧を確認してください。

保存動画を削除できますか？

「保存動画」で行を左へスワイプするか、選択モードから動画を選んで削除できます。削除した動画を本アプリから復元することはできません。

トラブルシューティング

Webページが開きません

• 端末がインターネットに接続されていることを確認してください。
• URLがhttpまたはhttpsで始まっていることを確認してください。
• Safariで同じURLが開けるか確認してください。
• サイト側がWebView、地域、ログイン状態などを制限していないか確認してください。

保存に失敗します

• 動画URLがSafariや元ページで再生できるか確認してください。
• 端末の空き容量を確認してください。
• 保存候補の画質を下げて再試行してください。
• ログインやCookieが必要なサイトでは、WebView内で必要な状態を整えてから保存してください。
• DRM、アクセス制御、署名の回避を必要とする配信は対応していません。

保存済み動画を再生できません

• 保存処理が「保存済み」になっていることを確認してください。
• 動画を一度削除して、空き容量を確保してから再保存してください。
• 元の配信形式が本アプリの対象範囲（MP4、非DRMのHLS、対象範囲内のDASH）か確認してください。

対応しない配信

DRM、MSEのデコード済みバッファ、認証・アクセス制御の回避が必要な配信、複雑なSegmentList/SegmentBaseを使うDASH、WebMなどは対象外です。動画を保存する前に、コンテンツの権利と配信元の利用規約を確認してください。

Getting Started

1. Enter an HTTP(S) URL and open the page.
2. Tap the detect and save media button.
3. Review the media, quality, and size in the Save Candidates screen.
4. After saving completes, open the video from Saved Videos.

FAQ

What media can I save?

The App handles MP4 URLs, non-DRM HLS, and supported non-DRM static DASH found in video/source elements or explicit page URLs. A candidate may still fail if the server requires access or returns an unsupported response.

Why are there no save candidates?

Run detection after the page has loaded. Media that is not exposed as a page URL, MSE blob URLs, DRM streams, and signed or protected streams are outside the supported scope. Reload the page and try again.

How do I play a saved video?

Open Saved Videos and tap a video. Completed downloads play from the device without connecting to the original website. Partially saved media cannot be played offline.

Does saving work in the background?

MP4 and finite HLS VOD downloads use iOS background transfer. Live HLS recording is supported only while the App is in the foreground; tap Complete when you want to finish it. Force-quitting the App may cancel background transfers.

Can I add a video from the share sheet?

Choose Gee Movie Explorer in the iOS share sheet for a compatible video file. Open the App afterward and check Saved Videos.

Can I delete saved videos?

Swipe left on a row in Saved Videos or use selection mode to delete videos. Deleted videos cannot be restored by the App.

Troubleshooting

A web page does not load

• Check the device's internet connection.
• Make sure the URL starts with http or https.
• Check whether the same URL opens in Safari.
• The site may restrict WebViews, regions, or sign-in states.

A download fails

• Confirm that the media plays in Safari or on the original page.
• Check available device storage.
• Try a lower quality candidate.
• For sites requiring sign-in or cookies, establish the required state in the WebView before saving.
• The App does not bypass DRM, access controls, or stream signatures.

A saved video does not play

• Confirm that the status is Saved.
• Delete the item and save it again after checking available storage.
• Confirm that the media is MP4, non-DRM HLS, or supported DASH.

Unsupported Streams

DRM, decoded MSE buffers, streams requiring bypasses of authentication or access controls, complex DASH SegmentList/SegmentBase manifests, and WebM are not supported. Confirm that you have the right to save the content and follow the source site's terms.
